this web site explains alcohol's effect on every part of the body. It is actually your soul, doing cartwheels. Alcohol is vital to human life, much like water and oxygen. When you supply your body with those much-needed nutrients like malt, hops, and barley, your body body rejoices.
On a side note, human urine cancels the effect. That is why nobody gets drunk from Coors light. It's because of the high concentration of piss. Coors light is actually 97.45% piss, 2.35% water, and .2% salmon. Alcohol is one of the oldest mood-changing drugs there is and was used in many ancient religious rituals. Some tribes believed it to release your "spirit energy" or true form.
