Does homemade wine always make you pass out after like one glass?!

Question:

Does homemade wine always make you pass out after like one glass?

I was drinking some last night and it made me SOOOO sleepy!

Answers: Probably had much too much alcohol. Stick with malt liquor, especially when you're drinking 40s in the park. No, it shouldn't. Stick to white wine, it has fewer tanins and won't make you as sleepy as red. wine usually makes people sleepy.. or horny.. no No, not always.

Depends on what you use in it. I don't drink it because I'm a wine snob

You can't make something in the basement of your house and make it taste as good as something that is made ion a proper winery depends on wat and how much u put in the wine It doesn't

It is no stronger than any other wine no it will make you pass out if you drink allot but
not just one glass
my dad makes homemade wine and i love to drink it but
1 glass of his strongest wine does not make you pass out maybe 3 or 4. depends on how much alcohol is pruced. i.e. hwo long u brew it for any kind of wine make me pass out after one glass.
in fact, i can't finish the glass. it depends on the wine and the person drinking it. It probably was crap, I tried a homemade wine that I wouldn't wash my socks in and I have tasted homemade wines that were great..... It depends on how experienced the person is that made it.. what kind of wine it is.. and the tolerance of the drinker. Most home made wines (that are made correctly) will only have enough alcohol in one glass to make you "silly" at most, but not drunk. It sounds like you drank a glass of the stuff which perhaps was not mature enough. It takes a lot of time for wines to age, and lose some of the bite. Perhaps this was the case here.

This reminds me of the old TV commercials they had for Gallo brothers wines. "At Ernest and Julio Gallos, we will sell no wine before it's time!" It was a big hit back in the 70's. LOL most likely, because you didnt add a lot of stuff like thoes wine in the market.
