Why is it hard to eat (a good meal) and drink at the same time?!

Question:

Why is it hard to eat (a good meal) and drink at the same time?

Answers: If you drink just a little, alcohol will normally enhance the meal. It has been proven that Alcohol increases a persons appetite. And normally wine and beer go well with most food types.

BUT.. if you drink enough to fill your stomach up it will effect how full you feel. So your brain may be telling you to eat, but your stomach doesnt want any of that.

It really varies from person to person. probably since the meal is so good you want to finish it all before drinking, since drinking something will cause you to lose the taste in your mouth. =] ? Drink what? A good wine just enhances the meal. i dont have any problems drinking and eating at the same time It's hard for me to drink beer with a meal it seems to feel me up before I can finish all the meal. I like to drink after "a good meal" because that meal will absorb the alcohol and I don't get tipsy as quick. it really depends on what your drinking, a heavy beer or a dry wine will fill you up faster than a sweet wine or a lighter beer. you have to balance your intakes
