Question:

Is there anyways where i can withstand beer longer?

Answers: If you haven't yet built up your tolerance (which you should have done already), the best thing you can do is drink lots of water between beers.

This will keep you hydrated and help your stamina. Eat something rich in B-vitamins and complex carbs before starting.

Have Fun! Eat lots of crackers and peanuts!!! I heard that taking Zantac before drinking can coat your stomach and help you withstand the effects of the beer. Good luck! Or you could always just not drink! ;) eat a lot of bread. it'll soak up the alcohol! Drink milk, water, and I would even suggest one of those anti-hangover pills...like chaser. My grandfather who was in WWII says that when he and they other Navy guys went out bar hopping they would eat a whole stick of butter first. He says that it coats your stomach. I think this is disgusting, and that you would puke all day just from that.

In my experience, if I know I'm going to be doing some heavy drinking, I tend to start "practicing" a month in advance of drinking at least one strong drink a day or more. Not really sure what you can do by tomorrow to help you out though. Practice, practice, practice!
. OK THIS JUST HAPPENED TO ME!!!

I did this last weekend with 4 of my other track freinds. I had never drank before but neither had one of my other friends but the rest of them have. We did the Beer mile at a local community college. I suggest to tolerate the beer better you coach a basketball team before you run. It works up a sweat!! good luck
