Answers: Most of the chocolate treats you are talking about have "liqueur" in them. Check the label.
Basically they may add liquor, but by the time they get done cooking it all the liquor has evaporated and you are just left with the taste. Alcohol tends to evaporate quiclky when heated. yes, chocolate liqueurs normally have between 10 and 20% alcohol depending on the brand/type.

however, alcohol evaporates very easily, so any treats that contain it are still non-alcoholic because the alcohol burns off during the cooking process. Yes, chocolate liquor has liquor in it. A liquor is an alcholic drink of a particular recipe and strength. A chocolate liquor has chocolate in it, and of course it has alcohol in it - it's a liquor! "Chocolate liquor" refers to one of the raw ingredients that goes into manufacturing all chocolate. The other main components are cocoa butter, sugar and milk. Different proportions of these 4 ingredients produces different types of chocolate. Chocolate liquor is not an alcoholic drink, but rather one stage in the process of turning cocoa beans into chocolate. Not to be confused with various chocolate-flavored liqueurs which are on the market, and which do contain alcohol. Chocolate liquor is what gives chocolate its brown color, and accounts for most of the flavor of chocolate. If you left out the chocolate liquor, and added some other flavorings like vanilla, you would produce "white chocolate".
