Answers: They do I think? Bought some a while back. Source(s):
? i can't recall which brand but i did see root beer float ice cream in the store a few weeks ago.
it was root beer flavored ice cream with vanilla swirled in it.
looked yummy i am sure somewhere out there, there is a such thing. but you wouldn't have the fizz like you get with a float!! They make rootbeer popsicles but no fizz to them. They do! I used to buy these "root beer float bars" from Shwans. They had the vanilla icecream on the inside then they outside was like frozen rootbeer.. MMM they were so good! dude, you may be on to something ......

'these snozberrys taste like snozberrys!' Hi.
Maybe try writing to ice cream companies, such as Breyer's, Baskin Robbins, etc. and ask them. you can probably find an email on the internet, quite easily. Hopefully someone will be nice enough and write you back!
By the way, they do have Root Beer flavoured popsicles. I know its not the same as ice cream though....good luck! No. The nice part about floats is the combination of soda and ice cream. Visual stimulus. Bryers makes root beer flavored ice cream or was it edys i think they both make it I think it was Breyer's that made a limited edition A&W Root Beer Ice Cream in the last couple of months. It tasted like a root beer float - was even, somehow, fizzy! Awesome. Not sure if it's still being offered but keep your eye out for it in your local grocer. They do I have bought it at Winco. I don't remember the brand name of the ice cream, but it was good. Iike eating a root beer float.l
