Does going to sleep drunk and waking up and drinking alot of water make you drunk all over again?!

Question:

Does going to sleep drunk and waking up and drinking alot of water make you drunk all over again?

Well I was totally wasted last night since it was my 24th birthday...anyway I woke up feeling horrible and ate breakfast and drank a big glass of water and now I feel drunk all over again. What's the deal?

Answers: Here is the deal. Your body needs water to process alcohol. When it runs out, it will temporarily store the alcohol in fat cells. When you drink water it comes back out so that you can process it.

You REALLY have to drink a lot to get that to happen and you really need to be dehydrated. Drink water while you drink the next time. it doesnt make you drunk but it makes the levels of your alchol stay in longer cuz the water lining on top of it cuz ur drinking water. It can happen, usually with wine though. Try coffee or soda with a lot of caffiene. That should help. Also, eat a lot of foods like bread or potatoes, it helps soak up the alcohol left over and any acid in your stomach .

Hope you feel better soon! wow sounds like you and my friend are having 4Th problems. I just posted one in singles on drinking for her. water cleans you out and it can make you feel sick after drinking when you are having a hang over. hang overs can last up to 24 hrs some times no joke read medical stuff........ some wake up and feel drunk and they were sleeping for 8 hrs..... I know that sips of water on n off is best thing next day to clean you out even if you throw up etc....... coffee worse thing........Best thing for all off us Is NOT to go to far . We mess up. But to drink a glass of water before you go to bed after drinking to help cleans your body keep you hydrated. booze dries us out........dry toast, is best too........ u r dehydrated.. No your drinking water, because the alcohol has made you
dehydrated. Try some Pepsi or Coke it will also settle your stomache.
