What is the best domestic beer to drink?!

Question:

What is the best domestic beer to drink?

No microbrews.

Answers: Schaefer. It's the one beer to have when you're having more than one. And who isn't. One of my favorite domestic beers is AmberBock, enjoy!!! D*m I can't answer this one! Only micros are the best beer to drink or imported. If I have to drink a domestic, Michelob or Michelob light. But I prefer microbrews or imports.

Guess Sam Adams isn't really a microbrew anymore, so if that's allowed, I like their seasonal ales. Domestic as in Canada or the USA? Up north I'd guess Molson's down here it would have to be the King of Beers. If you are in the East in one of the coastal states, nothing beats Yuengling (pronounced Ying-ling). Brewed in Pottsville, PA, it is America's oldest continuous brewery, having been established in 1829. Their Traditional Lager is far and away better than anything that comes from the big three (Budweiser, Miller, Coors). Their Black and Tan is also very good.

Then there is Samuel Adams. I don't like it as much as Yuengling, but it is certainly better than the big three.

Basically though, I find that regional/craft/microbrews provide the best products, and by supporting them, you are supporting the economy in your area or region. Well, Miller High Life is pretty good if you like the watered down version.

But some lighter beers you might like could be Sierra Nevada Wheat Beer, Samuel Adams Summer Ale (seasonal), and Widmer Hefeweissen.

Those last ones might be considered microbrews, but branch out and try some of these. I think you'll be satisfied. Budweiser - There is a reason why it is always a top seller in America. Coors light! Hands down! I've always enjoyed Michelob Light and I think you will also!! A couple 40s of Camo. After you down a couple of them they could do surgery on your face and you wouldn't even notice. BUD LIGHT! I am on the east coast and I have to agree with Chris C. Yuengling is the best non-micro around here. Unfortunately, if you live anywhere other than Pennsy, NJ, parts of NY, Delaware or Maryland it may be difficult to find. I would have included Rolling Rock but since Anhueser Busch bought them out I wouldn't bother. If you have to go with a big 3 beer (bud, coors, miller) I would say miller lite or high life is the better class of swill. And that's not saying much. Miller Light!! Well..when checking out your answers none of my favs were mentioned so i hafta give a shout out to Icehouse & MGD..ice cold & in bottles preferably! Budweiser!!!!
