Oh man this was hilarious to watch and I didnt know so much of the yahoo community knew so much about beer. And when i asked about a hamster i got a grand total of three answers. Well, you guys helped a lot, but i got kinda worried when someone said it could have harful effects because i was already testing out my beer and diet coke mix when i started reading answers. thanks a lot though you guys! even though I'm a dude I still find out that beer sometimes gets kinda unworthy to my taste buds, I have found a couple of remedies, I try them with CHASERS, one of the best chasers I found out is to mint pop after you take a gulp, its quick and you can take it to any bar and they'll let you take em in with you, my favorites are lifesavers. Its cool if you still don't like the taste when you take a drink of the beer, the key is too take fast drinks and to get the mint quickly in your mouth, soon you'll be getting a buzz on and the taste will be a non-factor...if you don't like mints, try your diet coke out and instead of mixing it, just supplement it as a chaser and follow a quick drink of the beer with a quick mouthful of diet soda.....lol its a skill to be good at drinking so it'll take you years before you can comfortably drink what you want to drink right off the bat(its the whole courage thing that always gets the newbies...) =) yes If you don't get sick first.

Yuck...I can't think of any thing worse to throw up! i would just get some hard liquor if you want to get trashed. Rum and coke or something like that. Or you can just get some Hard lemonade. I hate the taste of beer/wine/champagne/everything... lol Try mixing beer with clamato juice or tomato juice.
And yes........you can still get drunk.
I can't imagine beer and diet coke.UUG!!

I have heard of mixing beer and gingerale though. That sounds gross and not very good for you- the calories from beer and soda?

Try putting some vodka or other liquor into a freezer and take a few shots and chase them with some juice or something. of course you will still get drunk, as long as theres beer in it. you'd have to drink more drinks since each one is diluted, but you'll still get drunk. but honestly, either get used to the taste or find something else to get drunk off. YES you can get drunk -- not a good thing. i suggest you forget about the beer its bad for you and it tastes horrible. Diet coke is good It'l probably have a slower effect but I can't imagine it tasting any better. You may get sick as well. Yes, the alcohol will still be in it. Why do that though? If you don't like it then drink something you do like. that sounds gross! i think you need to try more beer, check some new stuff out. there are fruity beers such as wheach (a peach weat beer), pyramid (apricot beer), Marin Bluebeery Ale, and theres tons more out there. you cant judge all beers by just a few bad ones. maybe try a wheat beer, they are heavier but they are tasty. my fav is boulevard wheat or sunshine wheat. or try a blue moon, you drink it with an orange. that sounds awfully disgusting. try wine
coolers wich have more alchohol than
beer sometimes. Your probably drinking terrible beer. When I started drinking and only knew Miller and Bud Lite, I hated it too. Try Flying Fish Hop Devil. It has FLAVOR and it will knock you on your butt after only having two. PROBABLY BUT YOU MIGHT VOMIT FROM THE TASTE Not too sure how good that will be...but something that helped me like beer was adding a lot of lime! Also putting twang lime salt on the side, yummmmy! Yes, you can still get drunk. But if you don't like beer you should just stick to liquor. Drink a couple of beers and eventually it will begin to taste okay and you'll have fun. i think your weird and if you don't like beer don't drink it. i suggest Smirnoff ice or the Bacardi one (forgot name). but they are liquor not beer and come in flavors!!!! don't try that thing it may have harmful effects yes, it doesnt change the properties....mix bud light and dr. pepper....it tastes like a root beer float, yum. i don't know but u can buy flavors for ex. strawberry yup--still get drunk. I wouldn't recommend mixing beer with pop. try it with some clam juice. or try squeezing a slice of lemon or lime into it why not? You are still drinking beer. You are just delaying the process of getting drunk YOU CAN DEPENDING ON HOW MUCH YOU CONSUME if you are thinking of mixing beer and soda you probably shouldnt be drinking any thing????? Yes, you'll still get drunk, but you'll be taking in less alcohol at a time by cutting it with soda.
In Germany, they like to mix pilsner or lager beer with lemon lime soda. Before I tried it, I thought it was going to be disgusting, but I'm hooked now. It's great for cooling off on a hot summer day! Yes it will still have its effects, but you will be diluting the beer by adding Soda. Carbonation does increase the rate at which liquor enters your system so soda has that factor, but it's still diluting the beer and the beer is already carbonated so there's no point.
Try a Long Island Ice Tea. It has coca cola in it so it kinda tastes like a coke with lemon and has 5 liquors in it so 2 of those and you'll be on your way depending on your size and tolerance. Pour some Sprite or 7UP in it and it'll be better.
