How do you open a bottle of wine without a bottle opener?
Answers: that happens to me a lot !! (i keep losing stuff)
get a thin very pointy knife, and try to puncture the cork with it. this will make it easier to push the cork inside the bottle without breaking it.
if that doesn't work, try cutting the Cork into pieces and pushing them in. be careful coz if u push too hard you'll break the bottle and end up with a nasty cut and very hazardous to drink wine!! you dont. unless its a screw cap. and you use a corkscrew. not a bottle opener. theres no way to get cork out of a wine bottle using a bottle opener. they only work when the bottle has a cap. 1.first, gather up the materials needed..
you need:
-peice of towel
-nails
-hammer
-bottle of wine(of course)
2. look for a tree
3. nail the towel on the tree
4. slightly bump the bottle repeaedly to the towel and until the bubbles fill the bottle
5. let the bubbles open the bottle u don't. push the cork into the bottle, if you can make a hole in it it will be easier, but then you'll probably end up with pieces of cork in your wine. but sometimes thats ok too.. Only a prostitute can do that! ;) i've done it many times. force the cork down inside the bottle. Push the cork into the bottle. Take a piece of heavy string and tie a good sized knot on one end....
Place the knotted end into the bottle...Try to position the floating cork so when you pull the string it wegdes itself (knot on the bottom of cork)....As you pull the string the knot lodges to the bottom and the cork slides right out.
Works every time.... I was at a french wedding last summer, and 13 champagne bottles were opened by slicing the top off with a sword. Very impressive! If it's a cheap bottele then all you've to do is inscreaw the cap otherwise you've got to puch the cork down into the bottle - rots of ruck. you need 2 ingredients
1. a strong dowel or wooden spoon
2. a long piece of twine.
a) tie the twine to the center of the spoon and knot the opposite end to make a big knot.
b) push the cork into the bottle with the end of the dowel / spoon. BE CAREFUL it could get messy.
c) feed the twine into the bottle until the knot is under the cork.
d) carefully pull the twine back using the dowel to keep the pressure even.
the knot will push the cork out of the bottle as the sides of the cork are now lubricated with wine.

Simple . . . use a corkscrew, not a bottle opener.
