Should sherry be chilled at all?!
Should sherry be chilled at all?
I know a lot about wine (Pinot Noir especially) but I know little about sherry. Therefore, I randomly decided to buy some. I think sherry is meant for a desert wine, or formal situations; is this right? More importantly, should sherry be chilled (since I just bought some)?
Answers:
It does depend on what type you have, but generally any sweet wine should be chilled.
So, the key is how sweet is your Sherry. More sweet more chill.
But not too much. 5 degree below room temp. But that is my taste. I'm sure some people would suggest more.
