Why I get a headache after one beer, although it's different with wine?!

Question:

Why I get a headache after one beer, although it's different with wine?

I am a wine drinker. I have been drinking for quite sometime now. I use to drink beer. I switched to wine about 1. 5 yr ago. I haven't drank beer in awhile, but when I do have one beer ...I get headaches. I never use to. This has just started recently. I do enjoy my beers once in awhile, though it results in headache lately (darn). However, when I drink my wine (red or whites) I am totally fine!! hmmm..need some answers here. Just wondering if this has happend to anyone else? Thanks

hmm. I do drink quite expensive (nice) wines.

Answers:

Beer has aspirin in it (naturally occurring in the malt), which is why Doctor's refer to the "Heineken headache"...

Aspirin sensitivity usually begins after the age of 25 in men, and after the age of 35 in men, in CASE that helps you figure this out.

Grapes on the other hand have no aspirin, thus you have no problem with the wine.

Stick with the WINE !! Less pain, more fun.
