I'm just curious

Answers:

Long and varied answer because you have asked for very large groups of beverages... here's a quick and dirty guide...

Beer... water, hops, barley, active yeast that is fermented

liquor... widely varies but basically distilled grain or many other items(potatoes, ...) can be aged in barrels/vats and/or flavored with fruit or botanicals

wine... fermented grapes, yeast... vermented and then aged in barrels or steel drums

Champagne... a sparkling wine made ONLY from grapes in the area of France called "Champagne" and fermented in the bottle with no added carbonation... mostly white but may also be "Rose"
