Receipt calls for fermenting.. does not say cover or not..anyone know about?
a very old wine receipt call for fermentting in a crock for 10 days but does not say to cover..any ideas on which on e .to cover or.... not to cover

Cover it, but be carefull because as it ferments it will produce CO2 if it is in an air tight container, you will have created a bomb. So make sure some aire can get out.
