Has absynthe sale in the US been decriminalized?

I recently heard that it was now legal to sell absynthe in the US. A few quick searches yield only online stores...


Answers:

Well, yes and no. As per a previous post, the FDA has posted an acceptible risk of thujone in foods, but the ATF has not lifted their ban on absinthe.

Just an FYI, you'd die of alcohol poisoning before you hallucinated on the thujone present in absinthe.
