How many varieties of wild game animals have you had and which is your favourite? What is the best wine w/ it?

I have had about 10; I used to go to Switzerland each year during it's annual restaurant festival "Saison de la Chsse" (season of the hunt) and went ga-ga. I now live in Québec where game meats are commonly sold in supermarkets (horse, too). My favourite is wild boar. We generally will choose warm, racy red wines like Chteauneuf du Pape, Italian Sangioveses, La Manchas and Valdepenas from Spain, many Portuguese wines, also Argentine.
