I don't drink beer only on very special occassion I would have one can or so..?!

Question:

I don't drink beer only on very special occassion I would have one can or so..?

therefore I am no expert when it comes to beer in general but I was curious to know if you can tell the difference in taste of $2.00 beer compare to $6.00 beer? For example, can you tell the difference in taste wise between Old Milwaukee (cheaper beer) compare to Samuel Adams? If so, how is it different?

Answers:

It is a question of taste and how it is brewed. The cheaper beers are made in huge quantities so the price can be kept down.
There are Premium beers that command high prices and the speciality beers that are made in smaller batches. Because they are made in smaller batches they depend on good price to be profitable.
I can't speak about the ones you mention but there are differences in taste and in the way they are brewed.
