Can anyone recommend a good Scotch?
There is a party that we were invited to and alot of the people drink Scotch. I was hoping for a recomendation onwhat to bring, hopefully something not too expensive.

There are two kinds of Scotch drinkers, ones that like a good flavor (regardless of cost) and appreciate a large quantity, and ones that like the expensive stuff (without regard to the price). If you size up your friends as the first kind, buy a 1/2 gallon of a good mid-range priced scotch like Johnny Walker Red, or Dewar's.
If you want to go for a more expensive brand, you can't go wrong with a 5th of Johnny Walker Black, Glenlivet, Glenfiddich, or Talisker.
