Why do so many men drink but they don't want a lady that smokes?
I know smoking isn't good for us, but then drinking too much can be bad too. On so many guys profiles they don't mind if the lady drinks but they don't want one that smokes.I find that very funny. I am the opposite as I am not a drinker but I do smoke..But most guys drink and not smoke so its hard to find one that isn't so particular..how do you feel about this.

OK this one is easy to answer when everyone is drinking and not at the 2 in the morning ready to fight stage usually everyone is having a good time. Many movies portray this to everyone at the club having a good time, and they always show everyone hooking up with all pretty people no one is ugly. Most of the time you see anything on TV or elsewhere of a smoker its usually someone really old and they have alot of wrinkles (no offense to anyone) And I dont know about your town but everyone at my town goes to a bar to party and have a good time and not a smoking club. So maybe if people saw smokers as these really cool people and not just high school kids that look up to smokers as the "cool kids" then people would enjoy them.
well personally i think smoking is really disgusting. it's horrible for you, it makes you smell, makes your teeth yellow, and to me it shows something about the person. i can understand "you can drink but not smoke" because drinking isn't gross to me, just smoking.

Its a matter of preference.I don't want a GF that smokes.That doesn't work for me.I rarely drink,only beer on occation.
My primary reason for not wanting to be with a woman who smokes is that it smells horrible. I'd have the same problem with a woman who doesn't bathe. It's just unpleasant to be around.
For someone who doesn't smoke, kissing someone who does is like licking an ashtray. Its not the same for drinking.

Apart from stinking like a coal miner's armpit smoking actually kills you quicker than drinking. Do the maths it's simple.

its true that drinking is bad too but smoking causes more diseases while alcohol is beneficial to health if taken moderately.
