What do you prefer: Regular tequila or the tequila that has the worm in it?!

Question:

What do you prefer: Regular tequila or the tequila that has the worm in it?

Answers:
Good Tequila usually does not have a worm in it.

However Mezcal does.

Worms and Scorpions in alcohol are just marketing gimmicks they do not add anything special to the liqueur.

My own personal experience.

Never had the worm. From what Ive heard, you can only get tequila with the worm in Mexico. I believe they used it to test if there was enough alcohol.

Neither. Tequila is for hard drinkers, and worms belong in the ground.

No Tequila ever has a worm in it. That's a myth. The kind of liquor that you're thinking of is actually Mezcal, some of which traditionally has a larvae (either Hypopta agavis moth or Scyphophorus acupunctatus (agave snout weevil) put in the bottle.
