Rums.........?!

Question:

Rums.........?

What is the difference between Dominican rum and Brazilian Rum?
I never knew there was a brazilian rum.

Answers:
Brazil produces vast quantities of mostly light Rums from column stills with unaged cane spirit called Cacha?a (ca・sha・sa) the best-known example.
The Dominican Republic is notable for its full-bodied, aged Rums from column stills.

Dominican rum is sweeter then Cacha?a from Brazil.

They are both made from Sugarcane but the method of aging the liqueur is different.

"Cacha?a is often said to differ from rum in that it is made from sugarcane juice while rum is made from either molasses or sugarcane juice then aged in oak barrels."

One is made in the Dominican Republic and one is made in Brazil.

Both garbage try Appleton Jamaican Rum it's by far the best.

Dominican rums are darker and more full-bodied, Brazilian rums (not to confuse with cachaca - whick is an aguardiente, not rum) are light in color and body/flavor.
