Should I go have a drink?!

Question:

Should I go have a drink?

I am of (more than) legal age, I've had 2 beers today already, one 3 hrs ago and another 1 1/2 hrs ago and I will be walking to the bar.

I need socialization (and another drink) but should I go???

Answers:
If you are worried that you will appear wierd to other people at the bar for not drinking alcohol, f**k them!!! You are out to have a good time with your friends not get trashed. You sound like you are pacing yourself, but I wouldn't recommend having another one. That you are questioning your motives behind having another drink - and walking to the bar - is a good sign of having self awareness and common sense.

If you REALLY want to APPEAR as though you are having a cocktail, just ask the bartender for a soda with lime. It'll look like rum and coke or gin and tonic or what have you and no one will be the wiser.

Next time you go out, buy a "sipping" drink like a martini. It is more elegant, you will spend less (a typical martini is about $6 wheras 2-3 beers might cost you 7-10) or get a beer that isn't a "keg" beer. Life is too short to drink the cheap stuff.

nah, just stay home... there's creeps lurking out there, ready to pounce on a drunk chick.

If you're on here asking, you must think you have the beginning of a problem. Stay home tonight and see how you feel. You certainly can socialize other places than a bar and you can go to a bar and have a soda!!

Moderate drinking - 2 beers a day's quite a bit so next time.

You sound like a full grown woman to me. What do you want?

Yeah, have another. Get a Cosmopolitan. You can get a good buzz from the 3 shots of vodka. Girls tend to like them.

No, I think a better question is why have another one at all?

Why do non-drinkers answer questions about beer, wine, and spirits?

YES, go drink. See some friends, people at the bar, or even just the lonely bartender himself. Have a great time. And catch a cab home.
