Slam it back and chase it with a cold beer!

orally

raise your shotglass, cheers to something, and then slam it back! why? how do you take YOUR shots? :)

Well a shot is usually done fairly quickly & all at once.

Unless of course you happen to get a really "large shot"....then i guess you take it in 2 tries.

If there going to taste bad or make you gag don't do it. Also if you do it don't drink cheap s h i t.

Make sure the shot is chilled, nothing will get you sick quicker than warm liquor.

There are eight trillion varities of shots, ask your bartender what a good shot is that won't make you gag.

Experiment with different liquors. If one tastes bad, try another. Then another. Zen anofer. Zan noofar.
Zhem ofor.
WHAT! YOU FINK YOR BEDDER DAN ME!!!???!!!
Zunofer.
Zis guy! Hezzuh grate gye. Commere you and gimme a hug. Yea. Disizza grate gye.
Zennuvver.

And when you're done, have someone call a cab and decide which one you liked best.

Shots usually taste very strongly of alcohol, so you have to knock them back quickly. If you really can't stand the taste, follow with a sweet non-alcoholic drink ie Coke.

if you dont like shots then why do them why not get a mixed drink? like rum and coke or a screw driver or somthing.
