Why did Jesus...?!

Question:

Why did Jesus...?

turn water into wine if we are not allowed to drink?

Answers:
Because like all good people, Jesus wanted to get drunk!

Yeah, and who says we aren't allowed to drink, I am drunk right now!

Who said that we weren't allowed to drink?
What about communion wine?
(it's moderation, I think)
:-)

Jesus did not tell that. It is not written in Book of Mathew, Luke, Mark, Jude, John, and etc.

Jesus was in a wedding ceremony in Canaan where he made his first miracle. When no more wine, he made the water as a wine. He never said that people will not allowed to drink.

In was also written in the Bible that a little wine is important to the body. I forgot the verse where it was written.

But too much drinking of wine is bad. Your good memory will temporarily lost - you will speak with no thinking, you can show bad behaviors, you can hurt and kill people.

I hope you are satisfied with my answer.

Slap yourself.

Jesus turned the water into wine in obedience to his Mother. Mother Mary saw the the wine run out because of the so many guest and the newly weds were about to get embarrassed so she urged her son, Jesus, to perform this miracle (although it was not yet the right time for Jesus to start performing miracles) to save the couple from shame. His obedience, is an example of Jesus' deep love for his Mother Mary. And my dear, may I say that we are allowed to drink. Only, do drink in moderation.

Jesus never said we "are not allowed to drink." The only people who do that are those folks who like to be stricter than God about alcohol consumption. Nowhere in Scripture do you find a prohibition against drinking ... only drunkeness. These same people will say that a person shouldn't drink at all, because it may lead to drunkeness ... if that's the case, then we shouldn't eat at all either, since it might lead to gluttony.

Alcohol consumption, in moderation, is perfectly fine and the Bible backs that up, contrary to what the overly-strict among us might say.

I hope this helps.

Who said you are not allowed ??
Only muslims and a very few Puritan Christians
Don't know much about the Oriental religions
