I have a 50 plus year old bottle of Peppermint Schnapps and I was wondering if it was safe to drink?!

I have a 50 plus year old bottle of Peppermint Schnapps and I was wondering if it was safe to drink?

It has whiteish flakes in it and i think its the flavor but I dk...?


Answers:

It is safe to drink. The better question is will it taste good? Also what is the white precipitate?

The white flakes are probably just minerals and then most likely from the peppermint.
