Does gin 'go off ' ?!

Question:

Does gin 'go off ' ?

How long do spirits last once the bottle has been opened?

Answers:
Alcoholic spirits last for years if nothing has been added to them and they are stored well. Mine never lasted long though-drank them rather quickly.

dont know, but i rarely drink and when i get bottles of spirits given me for christmas, i use them again the following year and we are all ok, no harm done

as nasty as that is how would you know?

Not if you drink it all in one go!!

Cream based spirits like baily's do have a shelf life and tend to go within about 6 months of opening (i recommend keeping it in the fridge). Others, do not have a shelf life, if left unopened. If you do open them, they will evaporate and within time, will not taste as good as they do when first opened. but most liquors are fine to drink for quite a while after doing so.

Gin will last forever in its original bottle. It will evaporate quicker in a decanter without a seal.

In general dunno, when I open the bottle though about 3 days. lol

spirits once opened should last for years provided you replace the cap tight so no air can get in
