And a nasty big black fly lands in your last, freshly poured cool beer. Do you fish the fly out and drink it and try to forget about it, or poor it away and go to bed?

If it's late enough at night, and i've been hanging at the bar, odds are that i'm going to be cross-eyed drunk and absolutely unconcerned whether there's anything in my drink. So i'd have to say that i'd probably not even notice!

First swat a few of his friends right next to him, if he still doesn't spit it up slowly begin to slice off one wing, preferably with a peanut shell. and if he still does not spit it up, attach him to the nearest fly paper and come back in the morning. He will sing like a canary then.
Def take the fly out and keep drinking, otherwise that would be wasting alcohol and that would just be WRONG after all there are people in 3rd world countries that dont have beer!
fly goes drink is drunk and enjoyed and ...........if you have had enough to drink then you wont mind the fly and willl forget it very quickly
You should have turned into to a bet.
Here's how for next time.
A fly like a bluebottle etc, lands into any fluid it goes into deep shock and has the appearance of being dead tell you mates you can play God and bring the fly back to life bet them something small as not to rise suspicion then pick up the fly pour some salt on the table and place the fly on top of the salt( this will dry the fly out it takes a few minutes) and hay presto it comes back to life and flies away.
A good way to win a few drinks.
