Jamesons whiskey?!

Question:

Jamesons whiskey?

Hmm, I spent 30 bucks for a liter of jamesons and I am not sure how I should go about drinking it. I typically am a vodka man, or perhaps a bit of rum here and there and always take shots- never make mixed drinks or have beer.

Since it is only a liter and it was over 10 dollars more than my smirnoff vodka 1.75, I was wondering if there was a better way to drink it. Perhaps straight at room temperature or on ice? I also have baileys and bacardi 151, any good mixes there with just those ingredients (not like irish carbombs or anything like that)

I haven't opened it yet, but I am pretty bored right now so I think I might give it a chance.

To the second poster- can I make a drink with a mixture of the baileys and the whiskey? not a shot, but like a glass full?

mm coffee would be pretty nice.

To the one guy that suggested adding water to it for the aroma etc- I suffer from congenital anosmia- meaning that I have no sense of smell, and never have had one =/

Okay, so I am going to try it in a glass for now. Maybe add some ice if it is too harsh =p

One other thing- I guess the cap stripped, I am trying to tighten it but it won't stay on. First time opening the bottle too =/

Answers:

I would make an Irish cream with the Jameson's and the Bailey's.
Jameson's is great in coffee.
So is Bailey's for that matter.
Or slam three shots at room temperature, after that I don't think much else will really matter other than taking another shot.
