Does non-alcoholic beer still lead to dehydration?!

Question:

Does non-alcoholic beer still lead to dehydration?

Does consuming non-alcoholic beer still lead one to become dehydrated?

Answers:
It can to some extent. Beer dehydrates you through two mechanisms: alcohol and carbohydrate. Alcohol acts as a diuretic causing you to lose water from your body. Carb metabolism into energy or fat uses water.

So I think a non-alcoholic beer will still dehydrate you, just not as bad as the alcoholic type. I'd still take a glass of water every other beer or so.

Not sure just know it does not lead one to a buzz.

I would say NO... the reason you become dehydrated is that alchohol is a diuretic, which means it makes you pee... double that with the fact that alchohol escapes your body through evaporation rather than urine and you are going to be thirsty. But take away the alchohol and all you're drinking in water with some spices. I think you should be fine with the Coors Cutter!
