Any recommendations for who to see live?!

Question:

Any recommendations for who to see live?

For my birthday, I want to go see something live. I don't want something that's...like, $500. Who do you think are the best to see live?
If possible, can you find someone that tours around October, near DC or Richmond (VA).
It's really hard to find good music these days...
Thanks :~)

Yep sadly it is Hard to find good music but luckily I got to see and even meet Robert Plant a few years ago so if hes in town then sell your soul if you must to get tickets because legends like him and Page are a dying breed sadly. But I dont know about concerts there luckily I live in Southern California and summertime is concert heaven but just be patient, maybe you can take a rain check and wait for something worth while to go by there but happy birthday and good luck. Also I think Roger Waters from Pink Floyd might be touring but thats if you like pink floyd of course :)

You should probably try Rush
Why's this in the beers, wine and spirits catagory?

I just saw Billy Joel in Omaha, I don't know if he will be in your area, but it was the best show I have seen in a long time. I'm 26 and he still rocked my socks off!

three days grace. they are awesome. i saw them live and im gonna again at rockfest in kc. they are touring all across the us after rockfest.

Blue Man Group ... not sure if they are in your area though. Definitely worth checking out.
