You can do whatever you want, but if you put any wine in a decanter besides a fortified wine like port or sherry, it will spoil in a short time. White and red wines oxidize and can allow the growth of some microorganisms. So decant them to breathe and drink them.

once you pop the seal of red wine, it will go bad so if you put it in a decantor, drink it fast or it will go bad

no
peopl are messin with ur head
u can only store frozen carbonated beverages in a wine celler..... so tak all dat bacardi and dispose ot it pormply because a nuclear bomb warhead is about to set forth on ur home :)

once you pop the cork on any wine depending on weather it is red or white or a fortified wine or other liquor it will only keep its flavor for a few days. Refrigeration will prolong the flavor. The longer the wine is oxygenated or warmed the shorter its life span will be. Generally a red wine will last 4 days and white will be 3 days. This also can get better or worse depdning on how much alcohol is in. The more alcohol in the longer it will last. Hope this helps. Happy drinking.

Wine decantors are for letting Red wines breathe for a while prior to drinking. Not for storage. Depending on the quality of the wine you can decant from a half hour to several hours.

You CAN decant wines other than port or sherry. Almost any red wine is suitable for decanting. That doesn't mean they will all taste great the longer you let them sit.
One of the best wines I've tasted (Moniz Cabernet $47 ) was decanted for four hours and it could have stayed even longer.

For storage after the wine bottle has been opened I recommend a rubber vaccum stopper. You can purchase them in any liquor store that sells wine. They work really well and thier cheap.
