Does a bartender make all the drinks infront of the customer?
or do u make them somewhere else? What if you mess up, do u start all over infront of them and do they ever ask why you poured it out? could u just say that it was for another customer and just leave it there without pouring it out and start over on heir "real" drink ?

Yes, a abrtender makes the drinks in front of the customers. If you screw up you make a joke and drink it or ask someone if they want to try something new. I've known bartenders who try and cover it by serving the wrong drink. You'd be surprised how many times that works....silly drunk people.
well if in front of you they better do good job cause you paying it's not like there giving it away for free so it's best to sit in front of them so the drink taste great if not juice city
yes you make the drink in front of the customer i would just put in down if i mess up and start if you are skilled enough the sometimes think it a style and you did it on purpose
How can a bartender make all their drinks in front of the people that ordered it? He/She has to make it where the machines are. A bar that values their reputation will either give away the mistake, or throw it away and redo the drink in the proper way.
Being a bartender, Yes we make all drinks in front of the customer. The only time we make a drink and we are not in front of the customer is when we have to use a frozen drink machine like at Fat Tuesdays. If we mess up, we can either save what has been poured for the next drink (if it contains the same alcohol) or we dump it and write it off as a spill.
well i work at bennigans in tyler.....and they make them in front of the people...i think they do everywhere...lol....i've watched...it's pretty kool...
It depends on the bar and the situation
I bartend at Ruby Tuesday; we make all of the drinks in front of the customer. It's hard to mess up because we have a computer system where you can press a button and see instructions on how to make the drink. It's kind of fool-proof.
The hardest thing is trying to be neat while sometimes making three drinks at once. We have some drinks that are "handcrafted", meaning fresh squeezed lemons and orange juice, fresh mint, etc. It's hard to squeeze all those lemons and not miss...they tend to squirt servers in the eye when they walk by. It's nice for a customer to see just how much work goes into making some of our cocktails.
Not always...it isn't a rule..I bartended and made some in front of the cust..and then not...all depends on how busy you are.
