Did Marlboro really add a chemical to their cigarettes...?!

Question:

Did Marlboro really add a chemical to their cigarettes...?

to keep them from burning if they're not being smoked? my boyfriend convinced me of this and now they taste weird to me so i switched to Camels. is this actually true??

Answers:
They didn't add a chemical, they removed a chemical in the paper to keep the cigarette burning. There are a few states like New York that mandated the cigarettes to stop burning ( in about a minute) when they are not being puffed on. This prevents house fires from starting. I've tried them. They are better than the other ones since the cig does not continue burning if you are just holding the cigarette and lasts longer.

a smoker

All cigarettes have a little gunpowder in them to keep them burning.

I don't know what they did to them, but on one of those anti smoking commercials they said they did something to them in New York. So yeah it could be true.

It's true! It's true for all the manufactured cigs!
If you want chemical free cigarretes, roll your own!
Go to a tabacco shop and buy yourself a cigarrete
rolling machine. It rolls your favorite tabacco on your
favorite papers and filters them if you prefer a filter
No chemicals!!!

i HAVE NO CLUE ABOUT MARLBOROUGH, BUT i KNOW THEY ADDED SOMETHING TO NEWPORTS TO MAKE THEM STRONGER & SO PEOPLE CAN GET ADDICTED TO THEM FASTER.
