Can you get in trouble for attempting to buy alcohol when you're drunk?!


Question:

Can you get in trouble for attempting to buy alcohol when you're drunk?

I know that pretty much all states have laws in place that prohibit sellers from selling you alcohol when you're drunk, but are there any laws in place that prohibit you from attempting to buy alcohol when you're drunk?


Answers:

You can't get in trouble unless there is a cop around who will get you for public intox... and when you sell alcohol you're not supposed to sell to somebody who's already drunk (unless it's at a bar)... I'm not sure why, that's just how it is.
