What's the best cure for a hangover?!

Question:

What's the best cure for a hangover?

Answers:
a hangover is simply dehydration and low blood sugar. Alcohol causes both of these. Dehydration causes weakness and also the brain to shrink, hence the head ache. Low blood sugar causes nausea and weakness. So the best thing to do is rehydrate, lots of water (before bed too) and lucazade do a rehydration drink.
Low blood sugar is best sorted by a good meal of carbs, bread pasta etc as this will keep the blood sugar up rather than sugar which will give you a quick fix but drop again quickly

flat coke,a good fry up....thehn later on in the evening loads of munchies!!!!!

Irn Bru.......Scotland's National Drink.

Don't drink.....

Ribena - or anything with high Vitamin C content that will also hydrate you....

It's simple. Don't DRINK in the first place. If you need to drink, its better not to wake up before the effect wear down

McDonalds..with a large coke and loads of ice!

eat bread and take tylonal before you drink. drink steady not too much at once.

As much Fizzy Fanta as you can drink - works for me everytime!
Or you could just carry on drinking!!!!!

Don't drink. lol.

I know its strange but a ceaser (or 2) the next day always fixes a headache, shakes, upset stomach. For me anyways.

I think that the reason it works is because a hangover is caused because your body is rapidly detoxing from the large amount of alcohol. By consuming a bit of alcohol the next day you slow that process.so its not so shocking on your system.

Of course tylenol ultra is a gift in itself.

don't drink

A bottle of Irn Bru and when you feel peckish have something spicy like curry or chilli.

Hair of the dog, whatever alchohol you can stomach and drink a couple of glasses, followed by a greasy bacon and egg sandwich, sound daft but it does work.

a good fry up toast and sweet tea. plus dont drink the night b4 haha xx

When you get up, drink as much water you can drink. If a little salt and lemon juice are added, it works faster. Besides, Eno (a kind of fruit salt, used to remove acidity) is very effective.

Just drink some more, this delays the effect, but if you keep drinking non stop for the rest of your life, you wont have that hang over.

In all seriousness, drinking a lot of water and resting is your best bet, and take some chasers before you start drinking, that will help.

a fry is great for a hangover and drink a glass of milk as well to settle your tummy

dont drink

BACON AND EGGS

Beef Hula Hoops, Cadbury Dairy Milk and a bottle of diet coke.

Or Just stay drunk

hair of the dog

A bloody Mary of course!!!

how did you get a hangover? sure it wasnt something you ate? but anyways drink 1 quart of milk it will be cured 30 minutes tops

working out.

I'm not kidding. A 30-minute cardio workout to sweat out all the toxins. You may not feel like it, but once you get going, you'll be ok. The trick is to work up a really good sweat. Drink plenty of water before, during, and after of course. Then go home and take a hot shower and nap. No more headache. No more tiredness, and you're good to go again that night.

If it's during the work week, work out at lunch. You will feel brand new for the rest of the day, like you were never out the night before.

I know it sounds weird, but it truly works (sweating is the key). Once you're into it, your headache begins to go away and you begin to feel much better.

A Pint. Lol!

If I can a Bloody Caesar (or two), food and some more rest

if not

Chilled Tomato Juice w/slice lemon - salt and pepper, food and again rest if you can

Lots of fresh air

Take a can of Canada Dry Ginger, pour from glass to glass to remove the fizz and drink.

Great for upset stomach too

Other than that, last nights cold pizza and plenty of water
