I would like all of you to come to my house Sat. nite for dinner. You all have class--some more than others, but overall wonderful answers.

depends... some red wines would go great with fish, but I get what you are hinting at. If I were at a resturant where they suggested wines to serve with my meal, I would flip out if they picked a bad combination... Somliers are not something that you find at your local McDonalds ("would you care to see a wine list today? I believe this 2005 Sauvignon Blanc would go great with your snack wrap"). You pay good money for wine when at a resturant, so you deserve a knowledgable person.
