What is a good way to make a Long Island Iced Tea?!

Question:

What is a good way to make a Long Island Iced Tea?

I would like it to be sweet without too much of a punch from the alcohol.

Answers:

Well all 4 clears of course: Vodka , Gin, Rum, Triple Sec. + Sweet and sour. + cola for color.

For a sweeter flavor add more triple sec than the other liqours. Vodka is the strongest tasing and will give a punch so put more rum than vodka. Rum is a little more neutral and easily masked. You can also try a sweet cola like cherry cola or just add a little cherry juice or a hint of grenadine. With the right amount of each you can make this very strong drink go down smoothly.

Sometimes a customer may think their drink is not strong enough because they cannot taste the "punch" and/or think it is too sweet; then after a couple of my drinks I'm calling them a cab.
