Have you ever put vodka into wine?
I'm thinking of mixing a little vodka into some red wine. Has anyone ever tried this? Do you think it would taste wierd, or would the wine(possibly sangria) be what I taste?

A little hint to all the wine snobs. Even the highest end winery has grape juice and pure grain alcohol handy in the tank room.

Not a good idea - you would lose the best of both the wine and the vodka.
Keep to the wine. I recently tried vodka on a cruise in Russia and immediately reverted to malt whisky.
I put it in red wine before....but that was after I was totally blasted and didn't have a mixer. Don't remember it being too good. But I was too wasted to care.

Try ordering a glass of wine with a shot of vodka dropped into it, it is available at some bars in LA, not sure what Vodka or wines , but they should know.
