How bad off was I after that much alcohol?
I was feeling kind of depressed about my marriage and I went to a cookout at a friend's house. It wasn't long before the alcohol came. I drank 1 Seagrams, 9 smirnoff, and took 2 hits of weed. I was so out of it, that everyone there was worried. How bad off was I? At one point I remember being very cold. What happened? My husbands seems to think I was close to dying, was I really?

You had alcohol poisoning, most likely. If you were very cold, you probably were going into shock. And you should never drink when depressed. Alcohol IS a depressant.
Never mix different types of alcohol. Pick 1 and stick with it. Don't be a quitter.
you were cold because you were standing to close to the fridge.
You could have overdosed by accident like my sis in law did last nite about 1 am. Her man found her about 11:00 this am. We think she had some :snacks:" with her liquour. She leaves behind a 16 yr. old son.true, sad story.
first of all you sound like you're prond of what you done.........
next you also sound like you're easy to depress........if this is what you do when problems come your way, you're in for a very HARD and SHORT life........

I think it was more of the effect of the weed and alcohol. I know from experience that if your not use to mixing the two it messes you up pretty bad. I dont think you were close to dying because you would had to be hospitalized, I just think you are not used to mixing smoking with drinking

Especially different types of alcohol. Stick to just 1
and keep it light. Enjoy yourself next time by just keeping a buzz and not getting sick. If this ever happens again and your feeling too buzzed or sick then make yourself throw up so you DON'T get alcohol poisoning...
You have to be especially careful when mixing alcohol with marijuana. The two combined (even after only two hits - TRUST me) can be quite volitile. I recommend not mxing them.
