By the way, for those of you who are T.I.P.S. certified, how much was the class because this site says $50 which seems a little too cheap?
How much time might it take to complete the basic class to get certified?
So is this the correct site or not ? wouldnt want to fool with something that is not actually tips training.

I would highly reccomend not taking the class via website. I have been in the food business for almost 15 years and always have known to have to take the class on site with an instructor. The 50$ - that is about correct. It is a six to eight hour class. I would check with your job. They should have a list somewhere of where and when the class is offered and there should be multiple dates to chose from. Don't fear - the class is pretty simple, common sense stuff. More long & tedious than anything else.
