And If scotch what kind? I prefer a scotch called laphroaig and a high end macanudo myself

Gerry D- No, Laphroaig costs about the same, if not less than glenfiddich and the glenlivet(sp?). I recomend glenlivets french oak finish. Man does it have a great oak aftertaste

I tend to agree with the other posters. I think that whisky and tobacco go together like they were made to. I have had a falling out with gin but when I did enjoy a martini I would generally have one before dinner. I think of it as a 'happy hour' drink. It's the perfect drink for cocktails or whatever but nothing beats a whisky after dinner with a smoke.
As for me? I'll take a Drew Estate Chateau Real and a Dalwhinnie rocks anytime.
