The best tequila I've found is Patron Silver.

Anejo, or aged tequilas typically have strong oak or vanilla flavors from spending a minimum of 2 years in oak casks.

As such, the strong flavors are more suited for sipping, like you would with a brandy.

Reposado tequilas are aged slightly, and still might be too strong. Definitely go with a blanco, especially if you are using quality ingredients, like fresh lime juice.

it doesn't matter after you get all ingredents in it you can't tell the diff if you order one in a bar you are going to get what ever there pouring
