Sangre del toro is smooth. So is Concha y toro.

Red Diamond, Bogle Merlot, Kanga Reserve...

Kenneth Volk - Pinot Noir
Darioush - Cabernet

Jacobs Creek - Shiraz Cabernet

It's only £6.99. It's a screw top so I was a bit dubious about it buying at first, but it turned out to be one of the nicest wines I've ever had in my life!

Happy drinking! :D

Opus 1

Beringer Merlot

My top 4........

Higher End:
Stags Leap Cabernet
Far Niente Cabernet
Bertani Amarone<-----great on the pallete

Cheaper:
Frontera by Concha y Toro

Lambrusco- good red wine, mine fav. It really does depend on what you like. Do you like a dry wine, sweet, semi-sweet? Are you buying this wine for dinner, dessert, just to sip? Different wines are compliment different things. I would go to your local store and ask.

Tiganello, its expensive, but well worth the price. usually 120-150 at a restaurant.

Brunello is very good too. about the same price

Jordan Cabernet----very good red cab
Stags Leap Merlot
Rodney Strong Cabernet
Kendall Jackson Zinfandel (red not shi**y white zin)

thats my four favorite

Chateau La Nerthe - Chateaunef du Pape
Artessa - 2003/04 Reserve Cabernet
Prunetto - Barolo
Flowers - Pinot Noir
Sliver Oak - Anything

I recently had an excellent merlot from Robert Mondavi. It was a reserve. Very smooth and mellow with nice plum notes. Not acidic at all...super!
