What is a good brand of lighter?!

Question:

What is a good brand of lighter?

I am getting married and I would like to buy each of my groomsmen a cigarette lighter. What is a good brand in the $20-$25 range besides a Zippo?

Answers:
try colibri lighters

i would say zippo but try to find a brand called penguin or windmaster

It's not the lighter, it's the case that the lighter is in I think. Can't you go and pick out the case you want and refill it with any lighter. I used to smoke but never bought anything fancy so I'm not sure, just a thought.

I would say Zippo is really your best bet. And, there are little kiosk stores in some malls that will engrave them for you (such as "Things Remembered" stores)...I would have each groomsmans lighter engraved with HIS own initials..and maybe the date...makes a great keepsake gift!

A disposable Bic is a way better deal and it seems to last pretty long time . I bought a really nice lighter one time and it didn't work after 3 months. And 2 others just got stolen.

I agree with Mo, a Colibri is your best bet. It's a little classier than a zippo, but still a zippo is guaranteed for life.

Go to the mall
Find the knife / tabacco speciality shop
they have the whole ball of wax.
BUT
smoking is a dying sport.
It has NO good points but to show off.
Buy them a small pen knife to hang on the keychain.

Mo has got it right.

14 Bic lighters for each of them.

Ronson & Dunhill

Mo has it. Go with the Colibri, they are classy, windproof, and in your price range. Since it's your wedding I'm guessing that there will be cigars passed around, Colibri's use butane, much better for cigars than Zippo's lighter fluid. Make sure you get them triple refined butane, if it's not they will have nothing but trouble with them. Colibri makes the butane too. Try CigarsInternational.com, they have great prices on both. I'd call them and explain the situation, maybe they could cut you a deal.
