Drinking Q?!

Question:

Drinking Q?

Every time I try to even take a sip of anything with vodka in it I start to get sick. I had one realllllllllllyyyyyyy bad night with vodka and I haven't been able to drink it or any other hard alcohol since. Is it possible my body is just rejecting it or something?

Answers:
It's possible. Vodka may not be your booze. It could be the smell, it could be the flavor, it could be a bad experience one time. If it makes you sick experiment with others.
I refer to tequillia as the "bad girlfriend". You know, the chick you quit dating, but every now and again you see her, know you shouldn't, do anyway, and then you wake up 4 days later in Tuscon and your pants are in Phoenix. But it doesn't make me sick. Vodka, however, makes me ill. I don't touch the stuff.

I am the same way with tequilla. I can't even stand the smell of it. I just think your body remembers being sick the first time and it is a way for your body to not have to go through it again.

It's your memory that's holding you back. I am the same way. I use to drink cape cod's (vodka and cranberry juice). I got the worst hang over of my life about 4 years ago and I can not drink Vodka anything without getting a gag reflex. Suck it up and find a good beer to enjoy!

i dont think so..if ur drinking it straight it will make u feel sick! add something to it like orange or cherry ade!

seems to me that your nausea's drink some alkasezer instead.

i think that it's a mental thing. you're probably associating the one bad night with vodka.......so everytime you sip it you get sick. if you want to try it again, start slow. try mixing a little bit of vodka with cranberry juice. it does a nice job of hiding the flavor and smell.

i had a friend who could not drink vodka we thought it was the body rejecting it but it turned out she had a allergy to something in the vodka i would go to the doctors to find out what is causing the problem

Your body is defiantly rejecting vodka. 25 year's ago A friend and I split a Lt of Southern Comfort, The next day I was sick as a dog. And even 25years later I still can't stand the smell of it.
