Answers:

If you are referring to England then I'm sorry but all the answers you've been given so far are wrong.
In England there is NO minimum age, you can serve alcohol even if you are under 18 and not old enough to drink the alcoholic products you are serving to others. The only legal condition is that IF you are under 18yrs yourself you must have the permission and be under the proper supervision of someone else who is 18yrs and / or who holds a 'personal licence', and you can only get a 'personal licence' once you are at least 18yrs. If you are 18yrs old or more then you do not need to have your own 'personal licence' although it is encouraged because of the training associated in being granted one. All venues retailing alcohol will have one person as the 'designated premises supervisor', who has to hold 'a personal licence', and it under their authority and direction that you will operate.
