What are the basic requirements for holding a liquor license?
Age.
Criminal background.

I know at 18 you can work as a bartender. But I'm just curious.

That depends A LOT on what state you are in. They are all very different.
It is also going to depend on where the bar will be located, rather you are serving food, are you just looking for a beer and wine license or full service, and so on. You really need to talk to someone in that area if you are thinking about this. A lot of times the Chamber of Commerce will have basic info.
