Is it possible to have a naturally high alcohol tolerance?
I'm 118 lbs, 5 ft. My parents do not drink at all so I doubt it's genetic... I don't drink often. The first time I drank, I drank a bottle of Captain Morgan (42 proof) which is like... 4.2 drinks? and it didn''t seem to affect me too much... i drank it slowly throughout the night and all it did was made me feel a little nauseous and pee every 2 seconds. a month later, i had a bottle of smirnoff (70 proof) which is about 7 drinks in about 2 hours or so? that hit me pretty hard. i felt it go straight to my head but i didn't get drunk cause i remembered everything that day and i didnt do anything out of the ordinary either...
shouldn't i have been wasted since those were the first two times i ever drank??? i don't understand...

oh yeah my 2 best friends can drink all night long and even early in the morning and they can fully function. Me? I can't hang ... I get trashed after 2 drinks and usually end up throwing up if in-jesting shots throughout the night.
