21 thats my story and i'm stickin to it

first taste was very young, maybe 5, but didn't start to drink till about 12-13

High School. And it was Southern Comfort too. Yuck!!!!

I can remember sitting on my dad's lap when I was a youngster (maybe 6 or 7) and sipping on my dad's beer.

5 or 6 my dad gav me a lil sip. didnt start 2 drink till about 13

my parents always let me have a drink of wine or whatever they were having when i was growing up, so i didnt start to drink until i was the legal age of 18. i didnt see the big deal, whilst my friends would have sneeky drinks and get plastered, i was happy with lemonaide

toddler, then 11 when I was sneaking it, alcohol is the worst mistake of my life.

I tasted beer for the first time at 4, but I started to drink for real at 15...

19 y.o.?

First taste was very young. I once drank a whole gin and tonic aged seven, mistaking it then for a more innocent fizzy water XD
No harm was done, though I am told that I sat at the dinner party swaying on my chair....I guess that was the start of it al ;)
I started being allowed a glass of cider or wine aged about ten or eleven, but I don't do the whole 'getting pissed' thing. I drink socially at restaurants or with family or family friends, but I am not into the idea of getting drunk as an activity, or a means to an end. There are better things to be doing...life is short and all that XD
I think the whole problem of binge drinking in teenagers is down to alcohol being a 'taboo' for them. They don't have a civilised glass of red with the family and see alcohol as a way of rebelling.
Aaahh, what is the world coming to :D

Around 12

I sipped my father's beer when I was 6. I was 7 and my great uncle made me drink a shot of "I don't know what".....cured me from drinkin' until I was 19.
