Bartenders, What was the first bar like that you ever worked at ?

was it fun or difficult?


Answers:
Busy. Busy Busy.
We had an octogan shaped bar so all the call & preimum liquors were on a pedastal in the center behind us. There were four wells but we usually only opened two because the other bartender and myself were "ace" slingers. If we got busier the two owners would step up and open another well until we were out of the weeds.
It was a fine dining restaurant until 9PM and then the fun began. Had the greatest food. I can still taste the filet & lobster tail today and it's been 22 years. What I wouldn't give for a four day week @ $600.00 to $800.00 a week!
Hard work tho, very hard work!!
